PROCESS OF SUBMITTING THE FILM: You can choose any one option for film/screenplay etc. submission:-

1. Submit your film online through Filmdias, Filmfreeeway, WFCN, Clickforfestival, Festhome, Sfilmmaker etc. from below

2. Submit your film with entry form (Do sign on last page of the form, scan/take photo and attach in email), online screener with password and check points details in the form. Pay fee online and send us the proof at - myjiffindia@gmail.com or jiff@jiffindia.org

3. Send your film by Post/Courier with entry form, Film in Hard Disk or 2 DVD and cheque/DD of the fee at festival office


JIFF accepts YouTube link, Vimeo link, We transfer & Google drive link etc. for screener/pre selection/preview.


JIFF accepts film released on YouTube.


JIFF accepts released feature fiction and non fiction film(s) between last year January to Current year December and unreleased film(s) also.

2. HONORARY ASIA - for Asian feature fiction films, who produced/directed minimum 5 films in their respective career

3. WELCOME REGARD - for debut film, feature films only

4. OLD IS GOLD - Film screenings (by invitation only)

5. Web Series (up to 30 minute/s)

6. Mobile Film Making on Social Issues (film must be shot by mobile camera, up to 30 minute/s)

7. JIFF VILLAGE (INTERNATIONAL)- JIFF village is the new heart of the festival. The Village International will offer a meeting and film screenings place for national, regional and international film schools from all over the world. Participating institutions can organise professional events such as contract signings, press conferences, parties or announcements of new projects. Films nominated at Oscar 2025 (Academy Awards, USA) from different countries as official entry and official nominations through various ways, will be directly part of the competition in JIFF 2025. The awards will be separate for these categories and will be finalized by international jury members (World cinema leaders). Few top films will be screened in JIFF 2025 for global audience. Other rules will be the same as film submission in JIFF 2025.

Less than 45 minutes. Released/Not Released Yet/Produced between last year January to Current year December are eligible for submission. (Films, which are in post production are also accepted.)

More than 45 minutes. Released/Not Released Yet/Produced between last year January to Current year December are eligible for submission. (Films, which are in post production are also accepted.)

What program lengths are accepted in Animation film?

Under 30 minutes

Who can submit for Best Asian, European & American Film awards? (NEW)

Any feature film (Above 45 minutes) producer, director from Asia, America & Europe.

Who can submit for Music/Song/Album/Dialogue? (NEW)

Any Musician, singer, dialogue writer or related company/studio can submit. Submission for live performance is also accepted.



Nomination Notification Dates:

First List: November 5
Second List: December 5
Third and Final List: December 21


Final Nomination Notification Date: 21 December

Festival Programme will be live on website: 21 December



Submission withdrawal after nominations: - There are no rules for withdrawal of submission after the nominations. It would depend wholly on the decision of the organizing committee. However any withdrawal after the final nominations will invite a penalty of 20 times the submission fee.
