New Delhi, February 3: In a landmark celebration of Indian and global cinema, the 18th Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2026, 9th New Delhi Film Festival (NDFF) 2026, and GLOBAL CINE CONFLUENCE (GCC) – Delhi Film Convention & Summit 2026 will be held as a joint event from February 13 to 15, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam and the India International Centre, New Delhi.
Sharing details of this prestigious combined event, Founder-Director Hanu Roj announced that legendary Indian actor Dharmendra, widely celebrated as the “He-Man of Indian Cinema,” will be conferred with the Outstanding Achievement Award in recognition of his unparalleled contribution to Indian cinema.
Dharmendra has gifted Indian cinema with numerous timeless classics that continue to inspire audiences and filmmakers alike. Films such as Phool Aur Patthar (1966), Anupama (1966), Mera Gaon Mera Desh (1971), Rakhwala (1971), Sholay (1975), Chupke Chupke (1975), Pratigya (1975), and Dharam Veer (1977) have secured his immortal place in cinematic history. Beyond acting, his contributions as a producer and mentor have further enriched the Indian film industry. His legacy stands as a testament to integrity, humility, and an unwavering passion for the art of filmmaking.
The joint film festival will feature over 600 films from more than 60 countries, competing across various categories. A special showcase of selected top award-winning films will also be presented. In addition, the event will host game-changing dialogue sessions, panel discussions, and high-level networking programs addressing key issues and future directions of the film industry.
During the festival, more than 1,000 filmmakers, directors, actors, actresses, and film industry professionals from approximately 40 countries are expected to arrive in Delhi to participate in this global cinematic gathering.

The 18th Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2026, scheduled to be held from 13 to 15 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, has officially announced its third list of nominated films on Thursday.
Earlier, the festival had released its first list featuring 221 films from 37 countries, followed by the second list comprising 119 films selected from 29 countries. With the announcement of the third list, JIFF 2026 continues to strengthen its position as one of the world’s most diverse and competitive film festivals, showcasing outstanding cinematic works from across the globe.
The third list of nominations features 51 films and 21 screenplays from 23 countries, selected from a total of 387 international submissions. These entries span a wide range of competitive categories, including Feature Fiction, Documentary Feature, Short Fiction, Documentary Short, Animation, Photography, Song/Music, Screenplay, and Student Films. Representing filmmakers from across the globe, the selections underscore the festival’s strong commitment to artistic excellence, cultural diversity, and meaningful global cinematic dialogue.
