    The 6th JIFF Co-Production Market will take place during the 9th JIFF-2017.

    AN EXCLUSIVE PROGRAM, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRODUCERS, MEET AND GREETS.


    Two days (9 and 10 Jan 2017 at Golcha Cinema, Jaipur) special programme will give you opportunities to meet the global partners that will move your projects forward: Co-Producers, Sales Agents, Distributors, Financiers, Directors, Film Festival Organizers, Film Commissions and Film Fraternity Members.

    Co-production treaties are gaining great momentum in the industry. India and with other countries signed an audio-visual co-production treaty that aims to bring the film industries of the two countries together like - Canada, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, UK, China and Republic of Korea etc.

    Seeking to enhance co-operation between two countries in the audio-visual area; Desirous of expanding and facilitating the co-production of audio-visual works, which may be conducive to the development of the film and audio-visual industries of both countries and the exchange between them.     The Co-Production Meets provides a platform for carefully curated projects with the Global film makers/producers to find financial, artistic and creative support.

    How Can Submit My Script for Co-Production?

    From 15 July, 2016 till 15 December 2016, experienced & new producers/directors/writers from all over the world can register or submit their script/s.  

    If you are looking for projects to Co-Produce and participate in this, please write us at:  jiffindia@gmail.com or coordinator@jiffindia.org

    Project requirements:

    • Feature length fiction, Short length fiction project/s with international market potential (for theatrical release)
    • Suitable for international co-production and open for co-producers
    • Full script available 
    • Budget between: no limit/boundary, but show the budget of your film (in US $)
    • A minimum of 30% of the financing, or at least the local production support, must already be secured


    Project submission (by email):

    • Treatment / exposé in English (2 to 5 pages)
    • 5 page script excerpt for Feature-length fiction and 1-2 page script excerpt for Short length fiction

    After the Project Selection
    Co-Production Market 2017 the selected top 3 scripts/projects are announced in December and presented in the Project Catalogue, which is e-mailed to all registered participants one week prior to the event. The JIFF Co-Production Market team organizes individual one-on-one meetings with interested potential co-producers and financiers for the producers of the selected projects.

    The JIFF Co-Production Market is meant to be a “natural” meeting place for producers and financiers who are already attending the JIFF. Therefore, the JIFF Co-Production Market provides festival free accreditation only for participants who submitted scripts for co produce.

    SUBMIT IN 10 LANGUAGES
    Either than language Hindi, English, Rajasthani, Urdu, Sanskrit, French, Malayalam, Tamil, Marathi & Bengali, it should be dubbed or translated in Hindi or English.

    Rules & Regulations:
     
    1. One person can submit maximum 2 entries
    2. Either than language Hindi, English, Rajasthani, Urdu, Sanskrat, French, Malyalam, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi it should be dubbed or translated in Hindi or English.
    3. All entries should be produced/written/recorded after 1st January 2011 are eligible for the competition.
    4. Entries will be accepted till final deadline only.
    5. In each category will be top 3 awards. (top 3 winner/s)
    6. All selected entries will get participation certificate.
    7. After submitting the entry JIFF will never return any submitted material.
    8. If in any category JIFF will receive less than 5 submissions, in that condition there will be no competition.
    9. The script/screenplay/story should be your fundamental composition (मौलिक रचना). Your entry to any misinformation automatically will be cancelled.
