Synopsis: It’s the story about ‘Yashwant Batra’ a 50 year old simple man, making an honest attempt to win the heart of his wife ‘Kiran’ whom he never cared for (or she thought so). It is very unlikely of his character to do all the mushy romantic things that normally a young man is expected to do…… It’s his journey through the old lanes of Banaras to discover his love for his wife and realizing that if it’s about saying ‘I Love You’, then nobody is too old and it’s never too late.

The beginning of the festivities of completion of a successful decade is just a milestone in the long journey of JIFF. You all are familiar with the efforts of JIFF in giving a platform to the world cinema. In this ten year long journey, JIFF has seen many ups and downs. But we are happy to note that neither the downs have disheartened us nor the ups have made us big headed. Still we can pat our back by noting that JIFF has added something new every year to its programmes. Our initiative Production Meet has become our signature event. We have started giving prominence to non fiction films along with fiction films. This year we have added Symposia and Art to the portfolio of our programmes, and today I can tell only this much that from next year onwards, you will see an entirely new Avatar of JIFF.
On this happy occasion I wish to thank our all partners and well wishers for their unstinted cooperation.
Now enjoy this tenth edition of JIFF and please keep sending us your valuable suggestions.
A very big THANK YOU, once again.
